I support women to optimise their hormones and transform their energy through nutrition and lifestyle changes so they can feel the best version of themselves.
Hormone imbalances can show up in many ways from low mood, irregular or missing periods, acne, to low energy. I support women to gain control of their periods and deal with these issues by looking at the root cause of the problem, not just the symptoms so they can make lasting change.
I empower women to listen to their bodies and find their own balance, removing the need for restriction so they can achieve their goals.
I know what it is like to wake up feeling exhausted, comparing yourself to other people aiming for that “perfect body” or “perfect life” thinking I will be happy when I lose a bit more weight or when I get that promotion or have more money. The inevitable then happens, you reach that goal but you still don’t feel happy and you move into the next thing.
Even though I exercised regularly and ate what I thought was a healthy diet I still found myself feeling tired and lacking in energy and I would pick up every cold and bug going. This is the point when I realised that there is more to health than eating well so the next part of my journey began…..
I knew couldn’t work lots of hours, do high intensity exercise several times a week, study, sleep 6-7 hours per night and it not impact my health. However I needed somebody else to give me permission to slow down, priortise self care and ultimately my health.
I decided to embark on my own wellbeing journey and signed up to do a Health Coaching course with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. With the knowledge I gained, I started to slow down, switched out my high intensity classes for yoga and pilates, started meditation and built in relaxation to my schedule. The results were far better than any kind of restricted diet I had tried before. I felt healthy, my mindset shifted, I felt more positive, which opened up a whole new world. I want everybody to have the opportunity to feel this way.
I then decided I wanted to take my training one step further so I could give clients even more support with functional testing and more in depth nutritional support, so I signed up to do my nutritional therapy course with Collage of Naturopathic Medicine, which I am currently still embarking on.
